It is very common practice for unregulated brokers to call you out of the blue and try to follow up on a lead.
They mention you have signed up for a newsletter or shown an interest a couple of months ago.
Today it was caller 02039123706 , Jessie from Ibex Market. We signed up 4 months ago. Of course, this isn’t true. In such a case end the phone call and report this to FCA. https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/report-scam-us. Brokers are not allowed to cold call you,
